La Balai Waiver and Terms of Stay

By booking and staying at La Balai Staycation, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Check-in / Check-out: Check-in time is 2:00 PM, and check-out time is 12:00 NN. Early check-in or late check-out requests are subject to room availability and additional charges.
2. Late Check-out:

   Standard Time Frames and Fees:

   • Grace Period: 30–60 minutes past check-out time.
   • 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM: 20% of the room fee.
   • 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM: Half-day room charge or applicable flat fee.
   • After 6:00 PM: Automatically billed as a full-day/one-night stay.
3. Required Security Deposit: Guests must pay a security deposit upon check-in. A ₱1,000.00 security deposit applies to regular rooms, while a ₱5,000.00 security deposit is required for The Villa.

   Possible Deductions:

   • Damages: Broken furniture, stained linens, damaged appliances, or other property damage.
   • Cleaning Fee: Excessive trash, mud, glitter, confetti, or prohibited waste.
   • Missing Inventory: Lost room keys, towels, utensils, appliances, or other room items.
   • Policy Violations: The deposit may be partially or fully forfeited for violations such as smoking inside rooms, bringing unauthorized pets, or other violations of the house rules.
   • Refund Process: The applicable security deposit will be returned after the room has been inspected and cleared by management upon check-out, less any applicable deductions.

   Possible Deductions:

   • Damages: Broken furniture, stained linens, damaged appliances, etc. (₱500)
   • Cleaning Fee: Excessive trash, mud, glitter, confetti, or prohibited waste. (₱500)
   • Missing Inventory: Lost room keys, towels, utensils, or other room items. (₱500)
   • Policy Violations: Deposit may be forfeited for violations such as smoking inside rooms or bringing unauthorized pets.
   • Refund Process: The deposit will be returned only after the room has been inspected and cleared by management upon check-out.
4. Guest Conduct: Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respect other guests, staff, and property. Any damage caused to the property will be charged accordingly.
5. Prohibited Activities: Illegal activities, excessive noise, and disruptive behavior are strictly prohibited.
6. Personal Belongings: La Balai Staycation is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings left unattended.
7. Pet Eligibility and Registration:
   • Advance Notice: Pets must be declared and registered during booking.
   • Health Records: Updated vaccination cards (especially anti-rabies) and proof of being tick/flea-free must be presented.
   • Pet Fee: An additional fee of ₱500 per pet applies.
   • Leash & Diapers: Pets must wear a leash or diapers in public areas at all times.
   • No Unattended Pets: Pets must never be left alone in rooms or public areas.
   • Waste Management: Owners must bring cleanup supplies and immediately dispose of pet waste.
   • Owner Responsibility: Owners are fully responsible for any property damage, stains, injuries, or disturbances caused by their pets.
   • Right of Removal: Management reserves the right to require the removal of disruptive, aggressive, or noisy pets without refund.
8. Use of Facilities: Guests must follow all posted safety rules when using the pool, common areas, and other amenities.
9. Smoking Policy: Smoking is permitted only in designated outdoor smoking areas. Smoking inside rooms will result in penalties.
10. Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made less than 48 hours before check-in may be subject to full or partial charges.
11. Force Majeure: La Balai Staycation shall not be held liable for losses or inconveniences caused by events beyond its control, including natural disasters, power outages, or similar circumstances.
12. Waiver of Liability: By proceeding with your stay, you release and hold harmless La Balai Staycation, its owners, and employees from claims, damages, or injuries arising from your stay or use of the premises, except in cases of gross negligence.
13. Health and Safety: Guests must disclose any medical conditions or special accommodation requirements upon booking.
14. Payment Agreement: All rates are inclusive of applicable taxes. Full payment is required to confirm the booking unless otherwise stated.
15. Acceptance: By clicking "Proceed to Payment", you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
